What Makes KÖNIG Different

Engineering support before production

Many vehicle window projects start with a drawing, sample, vehicle concept or technical requirement. KÖNIG helps customers review what can be manufactured, what needs to be clarified and how the final window system should be prepared for production.

In-house control over key processes

Several important production steps are handled within the KÖNIG manufacturing environment, including aluminium processing, frame manufacturing, surface treatment, assembly and quality checks. This gives stronger control over the details that influence the final product.

Glass and frame expertise in one process

A vehicle window is only reliable when the glass and frame work together as one complete structure. KÖNIG supports both the frame side and vehicle glass-related requirements, helping align the glass, frame, bonding, sealing and installation concept from technical preparation to internal testing such as soft-body, static-load, durability and water ingress tests.

Quality throughout production

Quality is not only a final inspection step. Many production steps involve manual expertise, visual checks and careful handling. This helps detect issues earlier and supports the consistency expected in OEM and transport industry projects.

Flexibility for custom and smaller needs

Not every project is a large serial order. KÖNIG can review custom dimensions, special functions, replacement parts, small-series production, discontinued window needs and on-site maintenance support, where our quality or engineering team can assist directly on location.

Direct communication

Vehicle window projects often require clear communication between purchasing, engineering, production, logistics and quality teams. KÖNIG’s structure allows customers to work with accessible, practical and technically informed contacts throughout the process.

Sustainability

Sustainability in vehicle window manufacturing is not a single project. It is part of how production, logistics, energy use, packaging and internal processes are improved over time. KÖNIG works to reduce its environmental impact through more efficient manufacturing, responsible resource use and continuous process development.

Our sustainability-related initiatives include:

Development and use of reusable packaging materials
Energy-saving compressor investments
Manufacturing optimisation
Surface treatment improvements
KÖNIG staff checking a finished double-glazed window frame on the assembly floor
